EDWIN A. "ED" WHITE, C.C.I.M.

Ed White is a 1972 graduate from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Marketing. He has been in the Commercial/Investment real estate profession since 1976.Ed became a Louisiana Licensed Real Estate Broker in 1980, and received the C.C.I.M. (Certified Commercial Investment Member) professional designation from the Realtors National Marketing Institute in 1982. This designation is held by approximately 6% of the nation's commercial real estate professionals.
He received the "Ruby Award" twice by the Jefferson Board of Realtors for the most real estate transactions produced by a commercial agent. He is a life member of the Realtors "Million Dollar Sales Club", and has received the Realtors "Commercial Investment Division Sales Achievement Award "for over 10 years. His career personal sales volume is in excess of $337,000,000.00.
In September, 1984, he started the firm of Ed White & Associates, Inc. The firm has engaged in commercial-investment real estate brokerage, syndication, consulting and development.
Over the past 33 years, the firm has grown and now specializes in syndication, acquisition and disposition of real estate apartment investments on behalf of Ed White and Associates companies and it's investor clients. The firm currently asset manages approximately 962 Class "A" apartment units in Houston and Dallas, Texas. Lodge at Sonterra in San Antonio was sold November 2013 and Windsor House in San Antonio was sold November 2016, both producing significant profits to the investors. The value of the current portfolio under management is approximately $118,000,000.00.
Since 1995 as a "Key Principal" he has been involved in the formation of 41 Limited Partnership Apartment acquisitions throughout Texas. The volume of acquisitions and dispositions total approximately 6,300 apartment units and $650,000,000.00 of transactions.
Professionally, Ed has served as President of the Louisiana C.C.I.M Chapter, as a Continuing Education Seminar Instructor for the Metro Board of Realtors, appointed member to the Louisiana Board of Realtors, Jefferson Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) serving on the Business Development and Expansion Committee. He also chaired the Venture Capital Forum sponsored by JEDCO and the University of New Orleans.
In addition, Mr. White also serves his community as past/or present member of various boards such as: YMCA of East Jefferson, RHEMA Ministries, Next Generation and Perfect Love Ministries. Kenner Business Association – Secretary/ board member. Louisiana Republican party -1999 and 2000- Finance Chairman and as Deputy Chairman. East Jefferson Business Association; treasurer/ board member. Louisiana Victims and Citizens Against Crime –Executive Board Member/ Public Relations Director. He co-founded United Christian Charities in 1991, and served as Executive Board Member and President until 2006.
Ellen and Ed celebrated their 32th wedding anniversary this past May 25, 2017.
JUSTIN ARNOLD C.C.I.M.
Justin is a graduate of Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with focus on finance. In 2001, he joined the firm of Ed White & Associates, Inc. (EWA) becoming a Licensed Louisiana Real Estate agent that same year. Justin was the top sales producer for EWA for the years 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006, and 2007. In the years 2005 & 2006, he was recognized by the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR) as a top producer in the New Orleans area. In 2007 was recognized by the Commercial Investment Division of N.O.M.A.R. by receiving the Highest Commercial Volume for a First Time Recipient Award.For the years of 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 he served on the board of the Jefferson Parish Young Leaders Association; subsidiary of Jefferson Chamber of Commerce greater New Orleans Metropolitan Area.
Justin has been diligent and highly professional in his desire to grow and expand his real estate knowledge and credentials. He is a Louisiana Licensed Real Estate Broker. He holds the CCIM designation from the Realtors National Marketing Institute, which is the highest designation of a commercial real estate specialist. It is held by only 6% of the nation’s practicing commercial real estate professionals, or about 9,000 members worldwide.
Since entering the profession, Justin has achieved personal sales volumes in excess of $75,000,000.
He is an active partner in the Texas apartment portfolio held by Ed White & Associates. In 2007, he shifted his focus and began assisting the key principal, Ed White, with the strategic direction of the investment portfolio. His primary responsibilities include oversight of on site management personnel, coordination of directives with upper management, oversight of major capital expenditures, and assisting in the acquisition/disposition financial underwriting.
Future activities will include his involvement in portfolio refinance and sales activities. Regarding new acquisitions, he will be a co-principal of the General Partnership with Ed White, C.C.I.M.
ELLEN P. WHITE
Ellen P. White is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Office Administration. After working for an international law firm in the City of New Orleans for eight years, she started with Ed White & Associates, Inc. in 1988.Ellen earned her Real Estate License in 1989, and sold residential real estate in the Greater New Orleans area. She was a multi-million dollar producer.
Her wisdom, insight, and excellent counsel have been invaluable in the growth and success of the firm.
She now acts and an Administrative Assistant to Ed White, pertaining to all aspects of the EWA, Inc. operations.
LYNNE G. MARINO
In MemoriamLynne Marino passed away in May 2015. She started with Ed White & Associates, inc. in 1984 and was our Financial Administrator. Lynne was responsible for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and handled many other miscellaneous tasks. She was a dedicated and loyal member of our team, and was instrumental in our success throughout the years. We were blessed to have her insight and support, and miss her every day.
CINDY WHITE
Cindy started with Ed White & Associates, Inc. in 2007. Her background before joining EWA was in insurance, and the international seafood industry. Cindy has been in the workforce for over 40 years, and spent ten years working in New York City. As Office Administrator, she is responsible for client data information, paperwork and correspondence regarding real estate transactions, the Texas investment portfolio, and plays a major role in the day-to-day operations of Ed White & Associates, Inc.She has been instrumental in the technological aspect of the company's management of records, dissemination of information, structuring and maintaining the EWA's client/investor data, as well as the coordination of investment distribution checks.
